About Us The Methodist Training Institute (MTI) is a Theological Training Institution of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas (MCCA) – Barbados District. It was established in 1995 to provide theological training and continuing education for clergy and laity of the Methodist Church and other denominations. The Institute offers a range of courses and programmes to equip persons for effective ministry in the Church and the wider community. The MTI seeks to provide opportunities for students to grow in faith, develop their gifts for ministry, and be better equipped to serve in their local congregations and communities.
